Princess Purple Chicken!

This one is just a short and sweet one :) But it pretty much made my day! Yesterday after a drive to the lovely Lucerne to drop Kenny off a work Rhaylee and Taelyn just about died from starvation! lol  We ended up at Panda for dinner even though I had a million other things to do!:)
Anyways, Rhaylee and Taelyn usually share a kids meal and I asked Rhay what she wanted. In the car it was noodles and orange chicken so that made the decision on where to go pretty dang easy! Well when we get inside everything changed. From the walk in the parking lot my lovely daughter literally turned into a princess (I missed that transformation)..... back to the "What do you want?"
Rhay first asked for noodles and she got them. Rhay then asks for purple chicken....I said "do you mean orange chicken?" "No! Purple chicken!" Rhay chicken isn't purple." So I went ahead and finished her order asking for orange chicken. Talk about melt down.... Rhay said that she was a princess and a princess LOVES purple chicken (this convo is starting to turn into a "princess" fit) lol Everyone is staring and I'm just cracking up laughing because if you know Rhay when she is set on something she isn't going to give up and I just couldn't help myself. I'm sure I looked like that single mom who couldn't control her children! lol :) In the background there was also "more, more, more, more, more" from Taelyn! So needless to say my girls and I just put on a dinner show for all of Panda :) We sat down to eat and I then explained to Rhay that chicken isn't purple and if it was it would make us sick...even a princess! Let's stick to the orange chicken....Rhay added "Princess Rhay LOVES orange chicken!" OH GEEZ KID!!!! :D

The moment we all want to forget...

Potty Training! Scary music in the background is totally appropriate to set this mood. I'll be honest there isn't much laughter going on as of now. This sucks!! And with my hard headed, strong willed, insane, and grumpy 2 year old it only makes matters worse :( There should be a warning label for potty training! As of Monday Kenny and I began the adventure based of the 3-day potty training manual that apparently works for everyone but us! I'm on day 4 and I am practically bribing Rhay to pee in the toilet! Kenny was on a 6-day vacation and he was forced to work 2 days into this crazy thing called "pee in the dang toilet" so needless to say, I'm on my own! :( Now that I am on my own my shadow named Taelyn follows us to the potty and insists on eating all the M&M's (Rhay's pee pee treat). As I am encouraging and bribing Rhay to just pee already Taelyn is at my feet, and if you all know her this will make perfect sense, "more!, "more!, more!, more!, more!, more!". I'm stuffing Taelyn with candy just so that she will be quiet enough for me to kindly and patiently ask Rhaylee to "PEE in the POTTY!" Once we get a tinkle (this girl can hold pee up to 4 hrs) it's "YAY" and we say "bye bye pee pee" Taelyn easily gets this and I'm thinking at this time that I'm totally training the wrong kid hahaha :) Anyways, I'm glad that I took the time to write all this out because I'm finally getting a giggle as I actually read it! Now it's a plea for prayer...please pray for Rhay and I. Pray that we have patience with each other and that we can be successful very very soon and that I can make just a few more days without turning into a Pee Pee Nazi :/
