At my mom's request...
It's Halloween night and my girls are dressed up and all set to go. My husband's birthday is also shared with this eventful night! So the girls are waiting very patiently for a dinner that he decided to make for us! I know, spoiled...right??!! Which by the way was absolutely delicious (his famous ribs)! Well because the girls hadn't had dinner we were rushing trying to get them some real food before they finished the night off with loads of candy. I was just talking to Kenny and my parents about how we haven't had and trick or treaters yet and start practicing with Rhay to say "TRICK OR TREAT" so she can get some candy. Well my first, out of 4, neighbors came and as they screamed "TRICK OR TREAT" I couldn't even reach down to give them candy before Rhay runs up behind me and says "OH THANK YOU!"
Are you laughing yet? :D She carries on with holding her hands out so that they can give her candy, the poor little boy just stared at me with confusion! I gave them their candy and my mom and I just shared a good laugh together ;) Oh that girl! We then explained to her she has to go to a door and say "TRICK OR TREAT" and then she will get candy, of course after she eats her dinner....
She scarfed her dinner and ran out the door with her dad only to find about only 6 of the neighbors were home :( So even though they didn't go far the neighbors generously gave (way to much) and dumped candy into my 2 yo and 18mo olds' bags! Are you kidding me? So not only do I have all the neighbors candy but the 300 pieces I bought!!! I have never seen my children intake so much sugar and the effects are crazy! Taelyn went into a sugar coma at about 9 o'clock. Yes, you guessed it Rhaylee was up ALL night. That girl couldn't sit still to save her life. I went to check on her at 12am and she had just passed out on top of her blankets with one wrapped around her head and backwards with a leg hanging off the edge! NEVER again will I let her consume that much sugar. Because of that night I now have a 2 year old that will not sleep...3 days later....! So the plan for next year is...let the girls go a little earlier and then pass their candy out except for 3 pieces! LOL
P.s. can somebody come take all this chocolate out of my house? PLEASE!
This one is for GiGi and Papa... yes Jessie did turn into a fairy, surprisingly it wasn't that cold this year :)
